A   Doppler Spread

Doppler Spread can be adjusted in two ranges: 0 to 2Hz and 2Hz to 80Hz.
Path Delay
Path Delay between two possible HF-pathes can be set from 0 to 10ms

Additive White Gaussian Noise   (AWGN)

Additive White Gaussian Noise can be added in a range 40dB to -40dB. The noise bandwidth is 4KHz.
Be carefull, not to overdrive the output, when noise is added. If necessary, reduce input signal.
Impulsnoise
An impulschain with random characteristic is added to the signal for testing behavoiur against burst errors.

Path 1/2  Frequency deviation (constant)

The Watterson Model includes the possibility of a constant change in frequency in the HF-path. This value can be adjusted for both channels in a range -30 to +30 Hz.
Simulation of an instable  TX/RX
The effects of an instable TX/RX can be simulated, by a constant change rate  of frequency. The change rate can be adjusted in a range of   0 to 1120Hz/min. The frequency deviation will run up to a value of +20Hz and then run down to -20Hz.
G   Selection of Input Source
There are three possible sources: wav files sampled at 8000Hz, the soundcard input and an internal 1KHz tone for test and demo purposes.
When changing to a wav file, an input dialog box will appear. Select an existing wav file. The file name will appear beyond with full path name. Pressing the START button will start the wav input and show the remaining time.

Selection of Output Destination

The output can be directed to a wav file, which can be selected by the output dialog box. This does not stop the audio output to the soundcard.
Be carefull not to use the same file as output as the input file, because your input file will be destroyed.

will follow: adding external noise sources from wav files for testing against noise impact through different modulation types like pactor, rtty, phonie etc.
