Climbing Hochfeiler (Gran Pilastro 3510m) June 2000

Reinhard, Harti and me spent a very nice weekend climbing the highest summit of the Zillertaler Alpen, the Gran Pilastro, which raises up to 3510m. Climbing started from Italian Pfitschtal at abt 1650m. We slept at the winter room of the Gran Pilastro hut at 2700m, which was'nt opened yet. Climbing went on next day. The weather was excellent, but well below freezing. Although the weather was outstanding, nobody was arround all the time, so we had the summit and the outlook for ourselfs.
